Charcoal is the left over black substance (carbon mostly) which is gained after burning of material like sugar, wood and other things in the absence of heat. This heating of organic materials is called destructive distillation. Charcoals are of three types generally: lump charcoal, briquettes and extruded charcoals. They all are classified on the basis of their preparation and manufacturing. All of these charcoals are known for their distinct properties and different uses. The black residue termed as charcoal although is left over substance has significant uses in the industry. Some of the charcoals are used in construction purposes, building roads and also in vehicles. Most of the uses of charcoals are in fuels as they stand as superb fuel material and are really good at combustions. These charcoals are use in cooking fuels, industrial fuels, and vehicles fuels and for other purposes.
