Batteries are parts of our daily lives; we use it everyday and time hardly noticing its commonality. In morning, alarm, working with calculators, switching channels with remote, computer back ups when electricity is gone and many more; list is endless. One must value these devices because our lives are very much depended on them. Batteries in simpler words can be explained as the system that converts chemical energy to electrical energy. Batteries can be classified in two sections that are disposable and reusable. Disposable Batteries- These batteries are normal batteries we use in our daily lives. These batteries like pencil batteries and watch batteries are usable till limited capacity they have. After the use, they are dumped and another new battery is used. Reusable Batteries- these batteries are reusable. The reuse is possible if the chemical is refilled in these batteries. Also, they can be said to be rechargeable that can be refueled with the help of electricity or anything else. The biggest examples of these batteries are the mobile batteries used heavily. The market is facing challenges every day to come up with more advanced batteries that stand to the aspirations of market. Also, batteries that are applicable for longer period of time are demanded. Manufactures and researchers are working to carve out such batteries. Also, dominance of countries like China, Taiwan, Japan and other is challenged; is good signal for the market. The healthy competition has always checked the prices and made them affordable to everyone.
