The term energy refers to the physical quantity that constitutes the property of various systems and objects that are conserved by nature. In simple, energy can be described as the capacity of a body to do work. The most important thing about energy is that it cannot be created nor can it be destroyed. It can only be transformed from one type to the other. There are various forms of energy but the one that is attracting a lot of attraction is the nuclear power. Nuclear power is a source of energy that involves nuclear technology. To generate nuclear power, nuclear fission is used to release energy. Nuclear energy produced by the nuclear reaction generates heat, which is used in various purposes like boiling the water, producing the steam that is used for driving steam turbine. The steam turbine can be accordingly used for generating electricity. Nuclear energy is very important as it produces around 11 percent energy needs of the world. In United States of America around 15% of the energy is generated by using nuclear power. In France, nuclear power accounts for around 75% of the electricity.
